Little Logs
Last updated: 10 June 2026
Little Logs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a baby tracking app that helps parents, guardians, and caregivers record feeds, sleep, nappy changes, notes, growth information, reminders, and subscription status.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Little Logs handles, how it is used, the legal bases we rely on, and the choices and rights available to users, including users in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area.
1. Who we are
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where relevant, Daniel Wallace is the controller of personal data processed through Little Logs.

2. Information we process
Little Logs may process information that you enter into the app, including baby profile information, feed records, sleep records, nappy changes, custom notes, timestamps, and app preferences such as alerts, repeated alert settings, feeding preferences, multi-baby settings, and unit preferences.
To support Premium access, we and our service providers may also process limited subscription and purchase-related information, such as subscription status, product identifiers, purchase history, and entitlement status. Little Logs does not collect or store full payment card details.
Little Logs also uses Firebase Analytics to collect limited app usage information, such as screen views, feature interactions, paywall views, premium purchase and restore events, alert configuration events, and high-level usage events for logs and multi-baby features. We do not intentionally send baby names, custom note contents, or other free-text baby log content to analytics.
3. How we use information
We use information handled by Little Logs to provide the core tracking features of the app, display baby-specific logs, alerts, and trends, support Premium subscriptions and purchase restoration, generate local notifications and reminders, understand how the app is used, improve app stability and product decisions, and respond to support or privacy-related requests.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on one or more legal bases depending on the activity involved.
Performance of a contract: to provide the app, store and display baby logs and settings, enable app features, manage Premium subscription access, and restore purchases.
Legitimate interests: to maintain and improve app reliability, prevent misuse, and handle support issues, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Consent: where required by law, especially for analytics or similar technologies in certain jurisdictions. If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Where data is stored
Little Logs primarily stores baby profiles, logs, notes, and settings locally on your device.
Some information is processed off-device by service providers where needed for subscriptions and analytics. For example, subscription and entitlement data may be processed by RevenueCat and the relevant app store provider, and analytics events may be processed by Google Firebase Analytics.
6. Notifications
If you enable reminders or alerts, Little Logs may create local notifications on your device using the information you enter, such as feed times and alert settings.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and entitlement access.
We may receive limited subscription-related information from Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat in order to verify whether you have an active subscription, unlock or restore premium access, support billing-related functionality, and understand premium feature usage at a high level.
8. Analytics and product improvement
Little Logs uses Firebase Analytics for app usage measurement and product improvement. This may include information about which screens are opened, which features are used, whether users reach premium paywalls, which alert options are selected, and whether users add multiple babies.
We use this information to understand how the app is used, improve product decisions, and make the app more reliable. We do not use analytics for targeted advertising within Little Logs.
9. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the app, including Apple and Google Play for payments, subscriptions, and app distribution; RevenueCat for subscription infrastructure and entitlement management; and Google Firebase Analytics for app usage analytics.
10. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the UK or EEA. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.
11. Data retention
Because most app data is stored locally on your device, it is generally retained until you edit or delete it in the app, remove the app from your device, or device/local storage changes cause that data to be removed.
Third-party service providers may retain subscription, purchase, and analytics-related data in line with their own retention practices and legal obligations.
12. Your choices
You can generally choose to edit or delete logs within the app, remove baby records from the app, disable reminders and notifications through the app or your device settings, and uninstall the app from your device.
Where analytics consent or similar controls are made available, you may also be able to withdraw or change those choices in the app.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including if the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, you may have rights including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, request portability in some circumstances, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and complain to a supervisory authority such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Because much of Little Logs data is stored locally on your device, some requests may be most effectively handled by deleting or editing data directly in the app or on your device.
14. Children’s privacy
Little Logs is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers. It is not intended for direct use by children.
The app may store information about children, such as baby names, feed logs, sleep logs, and notes, only as entered by a parent, guardian, or caregiver for personal tracking purposes.
15. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the app. These steps may include minimizing the off-device data we collect, using service providers that support encryption in transit, and limiting analytics data to high-level product usage where possible.
However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Automated decision-making
Little Logs does not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects on users.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
